I admittedly set this up as a sort of "Rip off" of Garfieldminusgarfield.net due to the rumour that the site was getting 300,000 views per day and the fact that "MINUSGARFIELD.COM" was available as a URL along with the fact that Jim Davies liked the concept and would not try to sue somebody over it. Nonetheless I setup this site with online advertising and high hopes and I can honestly tell you that I have made exactly $1.12 through the advertising network since February 2008 to October 2008. I noticed that a couple of the strips I did are duplicates from the other site and when I have time I will go through everything and remove them. (I originally emailed the guy 3 strips I photoshopped for fun before setting up this site). I really enjoy the context the comics take without the cat and I have tried to include some good alternatives that I have really enjoyed. These include comics without Jon and also old characters from 1979 such as Lyman. I personally enjoy the specially selected comics on this site compared to the original "minus garfield" site and I hope you get a laugh or two. I know reading this isn't curvin' your lips north right now, so party on!
